
The federal lawmaker gave the assurance, yesterday when she featured on TVC live programme, One-On-One.
Lar said: “I will continue to speak up for my constituents and ensure that they are empowered educationally, economically and socially. I will ensure that every child goes to school and remains in school.”
Noting that her political sojourn has, so far, been very interesting, she attributed her victories to the trust the people have in her, as well as the positive impact she made in her constituency.
The Chairperson of, the House of Representatives Committee on Science and Technology applauded the Federal Government for improved funding of the tech sector, stressing that improved funding significantly helped in promoting local manufacturing of cars, solar panels, and tricycles among others, and called on Nigerians to encourage local manufacturers by patronising Made-in-Nigeria products.
She described technology as the way to the future, adding: “Technology is the way of the future and many countries have the advantage of technology to grow their economy. Nigeria cannot be left behind. We are trying to promote our home-grown technology, instead of depending on foreign technology.”
