Lagos State University (LASU) has conferred Honorary Doctor of Arts (Poverty Alleviation and Technology Incubation) Degree on Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.
While conferring the honorary doctorate award on her at the 24th convocation ceremony of the institution in Ojo, Lagos, yesterday, the management of LASU said that Orelope-Adefulire had in over 25 years of public service career carved a niche for herself as an accomplished grassroots politician with passion for education and others
In her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to thousands of unsung heroes, which include women and youths.
