Member representing Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency, Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi, has sympathized with the communities affected by bandit attacks in Gummi local government and victims of a roadside bomb blast along Gurusu-Gwashi road in Bukkuyum local government area of Zamfara State.

Describing the incidents as inhuman and barbaric, Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi assured of the government’s readiness to intensify its efforts in combating banditry and all forms of criminal activities in the area and State in general.

He advised the victims of bandits’ attacks in the two local government areas of the State to consider the incidents as destined by Almighty God, and prayed Allah to forgive all those who lost their lives, grant speedy recovery to the injured victims, and freedom to those in captivity.

The federal lawmaker called on people in the State to intensify prayers for Allah’s intervention in solving the security challenges bedeviling the state and nation in general.

He commended the efforts of the Nigerian Army, police, members of Zamfara State community protection guards, and vigilantes for their commitment and sacrifice in ensuring the protection of the lives and property of individuals.
