The management of Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan, and the Protestant University of Rwanda (PUR) have congratulated Professor Olu Ojedokun, Vice-Chancellor of the PUR, on his elevation to the distinguished grade of Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

The Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) approved Ojedokun’s elevation in recognition of his contributions to the development of the institute, the management profession and civil society.

In a letter conveying the decision, the NIM President and Chairman of Council, Commodore Abimbola Ayuba (rtd), FNIM, said the Fellowship was reserved for members who had made significant contributions to the institute and the wider management profession.

The institute stated that as a Fellow, Ojedokun, a Law Professor, would be expected to participate actively in its programmes through the Faculty of Fellows, where his professional competence and area of specialisation would be brought to bear.

The conferment ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, during the institute’s Awards, Fellows and Spouses’ Day Luncheon.

Reacting to the recognition, the Protestant University of Rwanda described Ojedokun’s elevation as a testament to his “visionary leadership, excellence in management, and unwavering commitment to advancing education and society.”

The university, in a congratulatory message, said the achievement was a source of pride to the institution and an inspiration to the PUR community and beyond.

It expressed optimism that the Fellowship would provide Ojedokun with greater opportunities to contribute to management development and broader societal transformation.

The recognition also attracted commendation from Lead City University, where Ojedokun has academic and professional links.

The elevation places Ojedokun among the distinguished Fellows of the Nigerian Institute of Management, the professional body established to promote management excellence and professional development in Nigeria.

NIM said the Fellowship would further enable him to contribute his expertise to the institute’s programmes and initiatives through the Faculty of Fellows.
