Leave Comedy for Shortcut 6.0: Top comedians, musicians storm Abuja


The stage is set for the sixth edition of Leave Comedy for Shortcut.

The Guardian reports that the comedy show is scheduled to take place on November 30 at the prestigious Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, with fintech firm BondPay as headline sponsor.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Onwunakugwu Ndubuisi Joseph, popularly known as Shortcut Comedian, said the event promises to bring together an impressive lineup of comedians, musicians, and creatives, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Some of acts expected to thrill at the show include Investor Sabinus, MC Bob, Kenny Blaq, MC Passion, Ovy Godwin, Sarkin Dariya, Abarie, and a surprise musical act.

According to Shortcut, “It is going to play host to an array of mind-blowing talents ranging from comedians, musicians and other creatives. We promise to give Abuja an amazing show.

“My show is beyond the acts. It is an experience. It’s like a mixture of so many spices. There’s an aspect of abstract entertainment, comedy, music, poetry”.

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of BondPay, Dr Chibuike Echem, described Shortcut as an exceptional comedian.

Dr Echem assured that the show will also be hosted in Lagos, Port Harcourt and other major cities across the country.

“This partnership is marriage made in heaven. It’s BondPay and Leave Comedy for Shortcut going forward. It’s not just about this year. We are in this relationship to make sure that at evewhere he is doing it, he shows capacity.
