Dr. Ayodele Ajayi, was on Saturday, August 13, 2016, bestowed as the fourth District Governor of Lions’ Club International, District 404AI, Nigeria, at the Ikorodu Musical Village, Ikorodu.

Lion Olanrewaju Adeyeye Oyedepo, the 37th president of Ikorodu Doyen Lions Club, has pledged more service to the less privileged in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State and beyond, just as he promised to raise and commit funds to five global causes projects in the country.

The five global causes include diabetes, vision, feeding the hungry, protecting the environment and pediatric cancer projects for the 2018/2019 Lion’s year.

He made this known at the Oluwatoyin Lions activity center, Ibeshe Road, Ikorodu during the installation of club officers for the 2018/2019 Lions year, cum fund-raising, towards the club’s projects.

He outlined his activities and projects for the year which include engaging youths with empowerment programme, screening and distribution of drugs to residents of Agbala community, Ikorodu, distribution of glasses and free cataract operation, diabetes awareness and free tests, renovation and construction of toilet facilities at the general hospital in Ikorodu, setting up of a library at the model college Igbogbo, tree planting and environmental beautification project, feeding the hungry, read action project, and community service.
