Newly appointed Commandant of Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal Idi Gamso Lubo, has taken the mantle of leadership as 38th Commandant of the facility, following retirement of Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Idris.

Newly appointed Commandant of Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal Idi Gamso Lubo, has taken the mantle of leadership as 38th Commandant of the facility, following retirement of Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Idris.

Lubo, while addressing reporters, yesterday, called for teamwork and value addition among all staff. He said leadership is a continual process, promising to build on achievements of his predecessor. He also pledged to bring his wealth of experience to bear on growth and development of the centre.

He said: “I considered the new position a privilege and opportunity to work. Already, there are teams of workers on ground to move the college forward. I believe everyone has worked hard to bring the centre to this enviable status.

“I am here to give addition, in terms of value, to what has been in existence. Soldiers that have served the country for over three decades will leave the military and go into civil life, knowing that this last bus stop will transform them and renew their mindset to face life with confidence and assurance, knowing also that they are fully equipped to continue after retirement.”

The Commandant urged staff to maintain high-level discipline, give proper mentorship to subordinates, and sustain efficiency in discharge of duties.
