Malami bags doctorate in Law from Nasarawa varsity
Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has bagged an honorary doctoral degree in Law from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He was among six other distinguished Nigerians honoured with degrees by the university, yesterday, at the Convocation Centre of the institution.
In his address at the programme, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suleiman Muhammad, said the award followed the recommendation of the school’s senate and approval of the governing council, following the recipients’ patriotism in their endeavours.
Other awardees are the President, Dangote Group of Companies, Aliko Dangote; Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari; Kano-based businessman, Aliyu Balarabe; Chief Executive Okocha Group Nigeria, Luka Okocha and Sen. Umaru Al-Makura.
