Methodist bishop gifts okada riders petrol in Imo
Christian cleric and Methodist Bishop of Imo State, Right Reverend John Eze, has provided a free supply of petrol to Okada riders.
The Bishop’s act of kindness and generosity to commercial cyclists came on the heels of the increased price of fuel and the hardship faced by commuters.
The Bishop’s gesture, which caught many by surprise, was aimed at alleviating the financial burden on commercial motorcyclists and bringing some relief to commuters.
Bishop Eze said: “I am thrilled to see the smile on the faces of these hardworking bike riders,” pointing out that “as a church, we are committed to serving the community and making a positive impact on people’s lives.”
The free fuel distribution, which took place at the Eha Amufu Motor Park, was said to have attracted hundreds of bike riders who were thrilled to receive the unexpected gift.
One of the beneficiaries of the free fuel, Chukwuma Okoro, said: “Thank you, Bishop Eze, for this wonderful gesture. This will go a long way in helping us to sustain our families.”
The Bishop’s kindness has been hailed by many in the community, who have taken to social media to pray for him and thank him for his generosity.
“Please join us in praying for Bishop Eze and his ministry as they continue to touch lives in Eha Amufu and beyond.”
