The Evangelism Ministry of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), marked the birthdays of its General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Elizabeth Olukoya, with simultaneous outreaches in prisons and markets across Lagos and other locations worldwide.

The activities, held under the theme “Time for Jubilation,” featured food outreach, drama, music evangelism and thanksgiving. Hundreds of inmates and market traders reportedly gave their lives to Christ during the programmes.

Prison Outreach at Kirikiri

At the Medium Correctional Centre, Kirikiri, the ministry held a food evangelism programme for nearly 2,000 inmates and officials.

According to the Head of Evangelism, MFM Worldwide, Pastor Bola Aruna, and his assistant, Pastor Sunday Akinseloyin, the outreach was to honour the Olukoyas whose “utmost passion is to see souls won to Christ and those in bondage delivered.”

Zonal Coordinator, Zone A, Nigerian Correctional Service, Assistant Controller General Olatubosun Dele Ajibogun, and Officer-in-Charge of Kirikiri Medium Centre, Daniel Ogu, described the Olukoyas as “true servants of God whose passion for soul-winning is second to none.”

HOD of MFM Explosive Evangelism Initiative, Group 3, and Regional Overseer, Pastor Funmi Amao, with her assistant, Pastor Francis Omogbeja, said the programme went beyond expectations as many inmates “genuinely repented” and gave their lives to Christ.

Some inmates testified that previous MFM outreaches had led to their salvation and transformation while in custody. Pastor Amao also shared her personal testimony, saying God used Dr. Olukoya to bring her “out of darkness into a purposeful life.”

Market Evangelism at Mushin Ojuwoye
Simultaneously, the ministry held drama and music evangelism at the popular Ojuwoye Market, Mushin.

HOD, EEI Group 4, Evangelist Uche Aniowo, said his Assistant Pastor Elizabeth Gbodi
Said market women, youths and others participated in praise and gospel ministrations in different languages, including Egun.

He said several traders, area boys, tugs, drug addicts,  abandoned,  homeless and others repented and received prayers for healing and deliverance.
“We came out today to celebrate the lives of our icons, Dr. Daniel Olukoya and his wife, for their impactful living and for yielding to God’s call,” Aniowo said.

Tributes to the Olukoyas
In a congratulatory message, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, praised Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Olukoya for her devotion to God, support for ministry work and commitment to family values, describing her life as “an inspiration to many.”

Pastor Aruna and Pastor Akinseloyin said the outreaches reflected the Olukoyas’ burden for soul-winning and humanitarian service.

“Their greatest desire is to see lives transformed through the gospel of Jesus Christ,” they said. “We are thankful to God for adding more years to our daddy and mummy in the Lord.”

MFM said similar birthday outreaches were held simultaneously in other parts of Lagos and across the world as part of the ministry’s commitment to practical Christianity.
