The Emir of Katisna, Alhaji Abdulmumini Usman, has sought unity among Christians and Muslims to address the pervasive insecurity in the country.

Playing host yesterday to a non-governmental organisation, Brothers Across Borders (BAB) in his palace in Katsina, the monarch regretted the prevailing banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities in the north.

He lamented that the situation had led to widespread poverty among the people, even as the traditional ruler called for members of both faiths to pray for the resolution of the problem.
