Opens new DSS office in Alimosho local council

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said that security of life and property remains the primary duty of his government, as well as improving the operational efficiency of security agencies in the state.

Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, said this, yesterday, during the opening of the reconstructed office of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Alimosho Local Council.

He said that sitting the office of the security agency in Alimosho was part of his administration’s commitment to ensuring the security and welfare of the people.

Head of Admin, Lagos State Office of DSS, Mrs. Adebisi Akinloye, who represented Director-General of DSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi, commended the state government for fulfilling its mandate of ensuring adequate security for Lagosians and supporting the agency.

She praised Sanwo-Olu for leaving no stone unturned in providing security to Lagosians and promised that the facility would be judiciously used for the purpose it was built for.

Also, Chairman, Alimosho Local Council, Jelili Adewale, said the construction of the DSS office was Sanwo-Olu’s response to the cries and yearnings of residents of the council to end criminality in the area.

He promised to support the governor for the actualisation of his second-term bid.
