NABTEB releases May/June 2021 NBC/NTC examinations results
THE National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), yesterday, announced the release of the May/June 2021 In-school examinations results.
Registrar/Chief Executive of NABTEB, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, announced the release of the results to newsmen at NABTEB’s National Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State.
Isiugo-Abanihe disclosed that a total of 83,504 candidates registered for the examinations in 1,614 centres nationwide.
She added that this year’s enrolment figure marked a 69.9 per cent increase over and above that of the 2020 In-school certificate examinations.
According to her, analysis of the enrollment for the 2021 NBC/NTC examinations indicated that candidates enrolled for 16 Engineering Trades, seven Construction Trades, nine Miscellaneous Trades, four Business Trades and 21 General Education Subjects.
Isiugo-Abanihe said 58,307 candidates representing 72.96 per cent of the candidates that sat for the NBC/NTC examinations scored five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics.
“NABTEB had scored another success in fulfilling one of its core functions. So, here we are to release the results of the NBC/NTC examinations after successful conduct of valid and reliable assessment,” Isiugo-Abanihe said.
She added that NABTEB has commenced registration of candidates for the 2021 November/December NBC/NTC and ANTC examinations.
