The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has warned members of the public about a fraudulent online notification of admission into its School of Medical Sciences and Aviation Medicine in Kaduna.

This was disclosed in a press release by NAF’s spokesperson Ayodele Famuyiwa.

Famuyiwa said an impostor identified as Air Commodore Anike Obinna is asking interested persons to pay N15,000 for the purchase of an admission form.

Obinna also provided two fake telephone numbers to unsuspecting persons.

NAF distanced itself from the fake admission stating it has nothing to do with the person involve in the fraudulent act.

“The fraudster also provided two fake telephone numbers 07047290540 and 09169461866 for enquiries in an effort to legitimise the illicit act,” Famuyiwa said.

“The NAF wishes to inform the public that it has nothing to do with the person or claims by the fraudster. The Service is yet to commence admission process into the ND/AND programmes at NAFSMSAM and has not authorised any agent or third party to advertise or collect money on its behalf for such things.”

NAF stated that admission into ND/HND Nursing programmes is conducted by its College of Nursing Sciences through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

It disclosed that information regarding admission into the ND/HND programmes at NAFCONS will be communicated to the general public in due course through the College’s official website www.nafcons.edu.ng.

Also, it advised the public to disregard the said advert currently being circulated on social media platforms as anyone involved does so at his or her risk.
