NASCO donates products worth over N60m to Lagos, Plateau, others
NASCO Group of Companies has donated its products worth over N60 million to Lagos, Plateau, Kano and Ogun states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, to support efforts against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Briefing journalists yesterday while presenting five trucks conveying the products, Executive Chairman of the Company, Dr. Attia Nasreddin, disclosed that in addition to the above, the NASCO Group donated N10 million cash to the Federal Government COVID-19 Response Initiative.
Nasreddin added that the Jos-based firm had also sent large consignments of detergent, biscuits and cornflakes to Jos University Teaching Hospital,Bingham University Teaching Hospital in Jos, and Plateau State Specialist Hospital.He said the group was in many respects pleased to be a part of the journey of Nigeria as a nation.
