President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Paul Usoro, has advocated intensification of efforts aimed at ensuring expedition of criminal justice across states of the country.

Usoro, who was represented by NBA-Macarthur Project Coordinator, Victor Abasiakan-Ekim, gave the charge at the Legislative Advocacy and Sensitisation Workshop on Promoting the Domestication and Implementation of the Administration of Criminal Justice Legislation in states of Nigeria, organised by MacArthur Foundation in Owerri, Imo State yesterday.

He admitted that there were issues and technicalities that hinder dispensation of criminal justice in the country and urged the states to adopt measures that would address the challenge.

Also speaking, Chief Judge of Imo State, Pascal Nnadi, state NBA Chairman, Owerri, Damian Nosike and Keynote Presenter, Okorie C. Kingsley, advocated the domestication of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 in Imo State.
