New Lagos PPRO, Hundeyin resumes, seeks support

A Supretendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, has assumed duty as the new Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

A Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, has assumed duty as the new Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

The announcement was made by the Administrative Officer, PPRO, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Kuti Stephen.

SP Hundeyin holds a BA (Hons) in the English Language from the Lagos State University (UNILAG) and an MSc in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan.

He also holds a Certificate in Civil-Military Coordination from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Training Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State.

He is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), a Member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).

Hundeyin, a one-time PPRO at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan Lagos, was a member of the Nigerian contingent to the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan (UNAMID) in 2020.

Until his recent appointment, he was the Administration Officer at the Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

Speaking on his appointment, Hundyin said: “The CP Lagos, Biodun Alabi, former FPRO, CP Frank Mba, the Ag. Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the outgoing PPRO, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu and others have reposed a lot of confidence in me.

“I feel honoured and humbled at the same time. And I do not intend in any way to let them down. For this, I need maximum support. I equally pledge my unalloyed cooperation. Together, we will get a win-win situation. One step at a time, let’s go succeed. We can do this. We will do this.”
