The Council of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) has approved the induction of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, as an honorary fellow of the institution.

Ooni’s induction will come up at the institution’s 2026 fellow induction ceremony scheduled to be held on Thursday in Abuja.

The honour is in recognition of Ooni’s immense contribution to the physical development of Nigeria, especially in the real estate and property development, among others.

NIESV also acknowledged the consistent support of the monarch for the profession over the years.

The Special Guest of Honour expected at the event is the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, while Chairman of BUA Group, Dr Abdulsamad Rabiu, will be the chairman of the occasion.

Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, will be the guest speaker, while the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, is expected to be the guest of honour.
