Niger State Governor, Dr. Abubakar Bello, has condemned the killing of Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi, the Parish Priest of SS Peter and Paul, Kafin-koro, who was burnt to death by gunmen and the entire Parish house burnt down in the early hours of Sunday at Kafin-Koro, Paikoro local council of the state.

According to a statement by the Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Strategies, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, the governor said he was saddened by the unfortunate incident and condoles with the entire Christian community in the state.
He lamented the attack on Reverend Dr. Martin Uzonkwu, and his auxiliary, Bishop Shuster Gropep and his assistant, Reverend Father Collins Omeh of the Kafin-Koro Deanery, who sustained gunshot injury and was rushed to the hospital.
The governor directed security agencies in the state to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to book.
He urged the people of Kafin-koro and the entire parishioner of the Church to be calm and allow the appropriate security agencies to fish out the killers.
