The Ekiti State government yesterday disclosed that three Nigeria Army will soon establish three command secondary schools in the state.

The Ekiti State government yesterday disclosed that three Nigeria Army will soon establish three command secondary schools in the state.

Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Foluso Daramola, who made this known in Ado-Ekiti, said arrangements have almost been concluded for the commencement of the schools.

Daramola, who stated this at a media briefing, added that five senior military officers were already in Ado-Ekiti for a five-day official visit round their proposed temporary and permanent sites.

He explained that each of the senatorial districts would have one Command Secondary School, adding that the military assessment team would visit royal fathers of the host communities to brief them before proceeding on the assessment.

The commissioner disclosed that the proposed communities are, Ijero-Ekiti (Ekiti Central Senatorial District), Ikere-Ekiti (Ekiti South) and Isan-Ekiti (Ekiti North), adding that the three schools would commence academic activities in September this year.
