Nigeria’s coronavirus cases rise to 1095

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday Confirmed 114 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, total now 1095.

80 of the cases were recorded in Lagos, 30 in Gombe, 5 in FCT, 2 in Zamfara and Edo, while Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna and Sokoto recorded one each.

“As at 11:30 pm 24th April there are 1095 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria” NCDC said on Twitter.

“In the last 24 hours,number of new cases increased by 114.”

The commission also stated that the number of deaths increased by one.

NCDC said five cases previously recorded in Lagos, are now recorded as Ogun state cases.
