Nigeria to get geological survey drones from China
Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Abubakar Bawa Bwari, has said China would supply drones to Nigeria for geological surveys.
He disclosed at the 2018 China Mining Congress and Expo in Tianjin, China that the move was part of an expanded memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two countries.
Bwari noted that geology and mining were an evolving field that required expertise.
“We believe strengthening partnership and cooperation would promote sharing of innovative business models to support development of infrastructure projects linked to mining,” he stated.
The minister called on the two nations to promote economic growth and prosperity for political stability and national security.
