Avon HMO organises breastfeeding support forum for mothers

To further emphasise its commitment to maternal and child healthcare, a leading health maintenance organisation, Avon Healthcare Limited (Avon HMO), will tomorrow, August 27, 2022, hold its first-ever breastfeeding//

To further emphasise its commitment to maternal and child healthcare, a leading health maintenance organisation, Avon Healthcare Limited (Avon HMO), will tomorrow, August 27, 2022, hold its first-ever breastfeeding forum in partnership with Milky Express to commemorate the World Breastfeeding Week championed globally by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA).

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Avon HMO, Adesimbo Ukiri, said it was in recognition of challenges that Avon HMO took the mantle of actively supporting mothers.

She said that pregnancy is a challenging period for women and even after delivery, there are other hurdles to scale, adding:

“We decided to organise this forum to further empower mothers and equip them with more expert information and resources on this unique journey.”
