Niger State governor, Muhammad Umaru Bago, has directed Commissioner of Secondary and Tertiary Health, Tukur Bello, to refurbish abandoned vehicles in government general hospitals to enhance service delivery.

The Governor gave the order in Kuta, Shiroro local council during his visit to monitor ongoing developmental projects in the area.

He also directed the immediate completion of the parameter fence of Kuta General Hospital.

Bago had earlier laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 50-bed capacity Ward in the General Hospital Kuta, facilitated by the Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, and lauded the lawmaker for initiating people’s oriented projects aimed to improve the living condition of his constituents.

The Governor expressed optimism that the facility will complement his administration’s efforts in meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
