The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has announced that the next phase of recruitment into the Federal Fire Service will commence on September 15, 2024.

Ja’afaru Ahmed, the board’s Secretary, made the announcement in Abuja on Saturday, urging Nigerians to avoid paying for the recruitment process.

“The next phase of the Federal Fire Service recruitment exercise would commence on September 15, 2024, with the portals opening immediately,” Ahmed stated.

He added that shortlisted candidates will receive invitation letters detailing their physical screening, certificate verification, and aptitude test locations via the phone numbers and email addresses provided during registration.

“The Board wishes to state that every process of this exercise does not attract any form of payment,” he said.
