Kaduna State-based pastor, David Azzaman, has pledged to mobilise no fewer than one million votes in the state for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 general elections.

Kaduna State-based pastor, David Azzaman, has pledged to mobilise no fewer than one million votes in the state for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the 2023 general elections.

Azzaman denounced those promoting one-religion ticket in the nation’s polity, describing them as enemies of peace and the unity of Nigeria.

The Overseer of the King Worship Chapel and Ministries Incorporated, told journalists in Kaduna, yesterday, that the country must get it right at the 2023 polls and move towards the path of socio-economic development.

He said: “Let us vote Peter Obi. He must get one million votes in Kaduna, which we will mobilise for him.”

Excited in the choice of Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as Obi’s running mate, the cleric said: “Baba-Ahmed is a Muslim from Zaria and a credible candidate. This is a typical example of a team trying to foster national unity in 2023.

“Let Christians stand up. Let reasonable Muslims stand up and deliver Obi in 2023 to set Nigeria on the path of prosperity.”
