Connect Initiative begins membership recruitment drive in Akwa Ibom

Connect Initiative, a socio-political organisation in Akwa Ibom State, has announced the commencement of a membership revalidation and recruitment drive.

The exercise is aimed at expanding its membership base and increasing its societal impact.

The group, whose primary focus is supporting and promoting the initiatives of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, through his ARISE Agenda, sees this effort as a way to invigorate its ranks.

The ARISE Agenda outlines the governor’s vision for economic growth and development in the state.

Speaking on the development, Dr. Frank Ekpenyong, the group’s International Connector, emphasised the importance of the exercise. “This initiative reflects our commitment to welcome individuals who share our vision of supporting Governor Umo Eno. It also ensures that our existing members align with our values and helps attract new talent to strengthen our capacity to meet our objectives,” he stated.

Participation in the exercise is open to registered voters in Akwa Ibom State by visiting the website support.umoeno.com and using the code SG-CNRGKFF8SE.

The revalidation and recruitment effort is seen as a significant step in reinforcing the organization’s ability to contribute to the state’s development agenda.
