The family of the late Pa James Okori of Akpugo, Ihube-Okigwe, Imo State, has announced the burial arrangements for their wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and aunt, Ezinne Lucy Ugodiye Okori.

Ezinne Okori passed on to glory on February 14, 2026, at the age of 85.

Her body will leave Jose Bonifacio (JB) Mortuary, Okigwe, for her hometown, Akpugo, Ihube, in Okigwe Local Council of Imo State, on Friday, May 29, 2026, by 9:00 a.m.

The funeral service will be held at her compound by the Methodist Church of Nigeria at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow immediately at 12:00 p.m. at her compound.

The late matriarch is survived by eight children, 30 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
