The federal lawmaker representing Ideato North South Federal Constituency, had at different fora raised alarm on the gully erosion in different communities in his constituency, worsening by the day activities of farmers, endangering lives and properties.

Ugochinyere who was visibly touched by the plight and abandonment in Ideato community commenced emergency work to stop the worsening erosion by building new drainage lines.

”I am calling on FG, works, NDDC, state govt to intervene by finding lasting solution to the problem

“The work which took off this week will run non stop until the new drainage is completed. I promise to fix the problem when I visited the community few weeks ago and here i am now fulfilling that promise Umuchima,”
