Governor Caleb Mutfwang has appointed additional Special Advisers (SAs), Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), coordinator among others in Plateau State

Governor Caleb Mutfwang has approved the appointment of additional Special Advisers (SAs), Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), and a Coordinator, among others, in Plateau State.

The spokesman to Mutfwang, Gyang Bere, in a statement on Friday night, said the governor approved the appointments in a move to enhance inclusiveness and ensure broader community representation.

“The appointments, which take immediate effect, are strategically aimed at increasing productivity and fostering stronger community relations to strengthen peace and unity across the state,” Bere said.

Appointed as special advisers are Engr. Jurbe Godeb, Technical Adviser, Water Management; Hon. Nuhu Yakubu Chayi, Special Adviser, Sustainable Technology & Carbon Credits; and Hon. O.J. Afwangs – Special Adviser, Budgeting.

The governor also named Fidelia Tohomdet as Senior Special Assistant (SSA), Domestic Affairs, while seven others—Felix Akpunkwu Dotun Fehintola, Alh. Yaro Mairake, Suleiman Musa Abubakar, Hajiya Jamila Pam, Chief Seigha Ebide, and Hon. Daniel Kwada— were appointed as SSAs on Community Relation for Igbo Community, Yoruba Community, Hausa Community, Fulani Community, Indigenous Muslims, South South Nationalities, and Middle Belt Nationalities, respectively.

On their parts, Mrs. Helen Haggai and Mrs. Rauta Danko were appointed Coordinator, Non-Governmental Organisations and Chairperson, Plateau State Pension Board, respectively.
