A former Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta State and Professor of English Literature and Literary Analysis at the University of Lagos, Hope Eghagha will deliver the 15th yearly lecture of the Registry of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).
According to a statement by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) Chairman, Mr. Isaac Fafila, the lecture, with the title, “Quality or Quantity: Rethinking Higher Education Administration in 21st Century Nigeria,” holds on Thursday, July 16 , 2026 by 10am at the Obafemi Awolowo University Auditorium, FUTA.
The Vice Chancellor, FUTA Prof. Adenike Oladiji will serve as the chairman of the occasion, while the Registrar, Mr. Charles Adeleye is the Chief Host.
Expected at the lecture series, which has become a key event in the Nigerian higher education system, are academic and administrative heads of universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and others.
Others are professional university administrators, leaders of academic communities, key stakeholders in the education sector and the general public.
