Police in Kaduna State have arrested six suspected kidnappers, just às they conducted massive raid in the terrorists den In the State.

 The armed security forces in its fight against violent crimes and banditry   conducted a clearance operations that led to the successful invasion of the criminals den.

In a statement by the Spokesman of the Police in the State, DSP Mansir Hassan, “on 11th August, 2026, the Kaduna State Police Command received credible information from a kidnapped victim who escaped from captivity, as well as vital intelligence from members of the public.

According to him, “the victim immediately reported to the Police and provided a detailed description of the house of one Ja’e Sama of Dogon Pako Village, Ikara LGA, identified as the location where he was held captive”, pointing out that “upon receipt of the information, the Divisional Police Officer, Ikara Division, swiftly mobilized a team of Police operatives in conjunction with members of the Vigilante Service to the location”.

Hassañ explained, “during the operation, the team raided the house and arrested the following suspects,  Ja’e Samalu, Abdul-Aziz Musa, alias Kire, Jafar Isah, Yunusa Musa, Shu’aibu Musa, and Rakiya Samalu, female, alleged to be the mother of the suspects and caretaker of the captive”.

Meanwhile, the suspects are currently in Police custody, as investigation is ongoing to ascertain their individual roles and to apprehend other members of the criminal network.

Hassan said, “the Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command,  Muhammad Rabiu commended the operatives and members of the public whose prompt information led to the success of the operation”.

He urged residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious persons, movements, or activities in their communities to the nearest Police formation.

“The CP further warned residents to be wary of criminal elements who may use residential buildings as hideouts or holding facilities for kidnapped victims. He stressed that community vigilance and timely information sharing remain critical to preventing and dismantling kidnapping networks,” Hassan added.
