The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted at Adeniji in Lagos Island.

The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation in a statement on Wednesday said the diversion is due to the ongoing reconstruction work by the Federal Ministry of Works.

“From 11pm today, Wednesday, August 28 to 4am on Thursday, August 29, 2024, all vehicles coming from the Third Mainland Bridge heading to the Island will be diverted from Adeniji Junction,” the statement read.

“Motorists coming from that route will have to make use of Adeniji Ramp to connect their desired destinations.”

Alternatively, motorists can also use Ikorodu Road to continue their journeys while being urged to kindly endure the inconveniences this may cause.
