Lagos commences partial operation of Red Line rail project
The Lagos State government has commenced a partial operation of the Red Line Rail Project from the Oyingbo-Agbado LGA of the State.
This was disclosed by the Special Adviser on Transportation to the Lagos State Governor, Sola Giwa, via his X, formerly Twitter, account on Wednesday.
“This operation is intended to evaluate the safety and efficiency of the rail system. Once full operations commence, we anticipate transporting over 500,000 passengers daily.”
“We intend to facilitate a safe, reliable, efficient, and modern transportation system for Lagos,” he added.
