Residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun have commended the member representing Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency, Dr Kalejaye Adeboye Paul, for installing solar-powered streetlights in Okulaja, Okito, Iyalode, God-in-Action, Ojo Road, Kalejaiye Close and 16 other streets.

They stated that the solar streetlights have reduced crimes in the area.

A resident in the area, Hakeem Odumbaku Aweda, said: “He has impacted lives in Ajeromi-Ifelodun. You will be happy with what is happening if you come to our area at night. He has also done empowerment and we are impressed.

“Now, people can come to Ajeromi at night. He built classrooms and facilitated road construction.

“The lawmaker also facilitated the training of over 200 youths in ICT with incentives, provided food palliative for 7,000 constituents, empowered members of his constituency with sewing machines, tricycles, grinding machines, standing dryers, motorcycles, and makeup equipment.”

He added: “He also constructed blocks of classrooms at Ladipo Primary School in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), facilitated a 500kva transformer and empowered market women with skills.

“He further organised social media and marketing training for 100 youths and supported them with N65,000 each, and as well doled out N10 million to 200 mosques and churches.”

“We are not doing things for party members alone but for everyone in Ajeromi-Ifelodun. The transformer we provided knows no religion, tribe, or party affiliation. The street lighting doesn’t know gender, so we have always carried members of the public along.

“Constituents should expect robust representation. I promised to give a voice to Ajeromi Ifelodun and I started that almost immediately. Everyone in the National Assembly knows me by my name. I positioned myself. I don’t miss sitting and I dedicate myself. I will prioritise my programmes to focus more on the youth.

“I remain steadfast in my commitment to attract more developmental projects to Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency, ensuring the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people. My leadership will continue to inspire hope and progress across all sectors within the constituency,” he said.
