Itolo Girls’ Secondary School, Lagos, will commemorate 45 years of cherished memories, enduring friendships, and educational heritage with a landmark homecoming on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

The celebration, with the theme: “Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present,” will bring together alumnae, former teachers and staff, students, families and friends of the school to celebrate its rich legacy and the lasting impact of an Itolo education.

The anniversary provides an opportunity to reconnect across generations, celebrate achievements, preserve shared memories and recognise the people and experiences that have contributed to the school’s history.

A major highlight will be the 40th Graduation Anniversary of the Class of 1986, marking four decades since graduation and celebrating the enduring bonds, resilience, leadership, service and accomplishments of its members.
The celebration will also acknowledge the contributions of alumnae from graduating sets across the years, whose achievements and service continue to make meaningful contributions to communities in Nigeria and around the world.

Beyond reflection and celebration, the anniversary looks toward the future. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of the Itolo community, encourage mentorship and service, support future generations of Itolo girls, and preserve the values and tradition of excellence associated with the school.
