The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered a manhunt for one Kola over alleged sexual molestation involving a 17-year-old teenage boy in Adigbe.

The directive followed a complaint lodged at Adigbe Police Division on 8 September 2026 at about 1700hrs on the incident.

Spokesperson of the Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi. confirmed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta yesterday.

Babaseyi said that that victim in company of his parent complained that one Mr Kola sexually assaulted him on three occasions in January 2026 and threatened him into silence.

He said that following the report, the victim was taken to a hospital within Adigbe axis for medical examination, while detectives commenced investigation.

The spokesperson said that the matter only came to Police attention upon the report made on 8 September 2026.

“The said Kola is presently at large, and CP Bode Ojajuni has directed detectives to intensify efforts to locate and arrest him on sight.” he said.

Babaseyi, however, assured members of the public that the allegation is receiving urgent, professional and sensitive investigation, while reiterating its commitment to protecting children and vulnerable persons.
