Teenager arrested for stabbing 38-year-old lover to death in Benin
Edo State Police have apprehended an 18-year-old boy, Kingdom Paul, for fatally stabbing his 38-year-old lover, Victory Oro, at a local hotel in Benin City.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 5, after Paul and Oro engaged in a sexual encounter at the lodge.
According to reports, an altercation broke out between Paul and Oro after their encounter.
The victim was rushed to Supreme Hospital on Upper Ekenwan Road but succumbed to her injuries. Her body has been taken to the hospital mortuary for an autopsy.
Police Spokesman, SP Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the arrest and noted that Paul confessed to the crime. He revealed that Paul had initially agreed to be paid N2,000 by Oro for the encounter but stabbed her during a disagreement.

The teenager made the confession while being paraded at the Police Command headquarters in Benin City on Friday, September 6. The investigation is ongoing.
In a related incident, Edo State Police also arrested a 19-year-old self-proclaimed native doctor for killing a client while testing bulletproof charms.
The teenager is set to face prosecution once the investigation concludes.
