The Rivers State Police Command has issued a missing person alert for 17-year-old Miss Joy Woke Wiro, who disappeared from her home on Monday, September 8, 2025. Despite efforts by the police to trace her, Joy’s whereabouts remain unknown.

According to a statement signed by Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko, Joy is a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Council of the state. She is approximately 5 feet tall, of fair complexion, and speaks English and Ikwerre fluently.

The police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact her father, Prince Wiro, on 0806 522 7445 or 0816 733 8058, or call the Police Control Room on 0803 200 3514. Alternatively, information can be reported at the nearest police station.
