Troops neutralise four terrorists in Ruwan Kunku, Zamfara

Nigerian Army troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, under the TSAFTADAJI III-Phase 2, have neutralised another four notorious bandits in Ruwan Kunku, a village along the Gusau-Magami highway in Zamfara State, in continued offensive.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency media expert, that the offensive carried out during the weeklong targeted terrorists responsible for multiple kidnappings and attacks on travellers along the highway.

The identified terrorists include: one Nazifi, Sakkarawa, Sule and Dan Kwaiba

According to sources, the slain terrorists were part of a criminal network operating from Mai Rai Rai village in Bini district, under Maru Local Government Area.

They were also known to be associates of the late notorious terrorist leader, Kachalla Zakiru.

As troops intensify operations deep into the bandits enclaves, more terrorists will be barbecued.
