The burial rites for the late Victor O’Brien Nkwo, a lawyer, who passed away on Friday, April 23, 2026, will begin with a court session on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Abia State High Court, Umuahia Judicial Headquarters.

His remains will depart the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia Mortuary for his family compound at Akealu Lodu Imenyi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, where he will lie in state at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

The funeral service and interment will take place later the same day at the Community Primary School Field, Lodu Imenyi.

The late Barrister Nkwo is survived by family members, friends and well-wishers.
