HAFBAM Global Properties has reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility and community development after reaching over 150 people through its 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) medical outreach held recently at the Maternal and Child Centre (MCC), Eti-Osa Abraham Adesanya, Ajah, Lagos.
The outreach, which brought free medical services closer to residents of Ajah community and surrounding areas, formed part of the company’s ongoing CSR programme, which commenced in 2023.
The initiative reflects the company’s belief that meaningful business success should extend beyond commercial achievements to include tangible contributions to the well-being of society.
This year’s programme focused on healthcare, an essential aspect of human welfare that is often overlooked until health challenges arise.
Through the initiative, beneficiaries had access to free general medical consultations, dental checks, eye check, blood sugar screening, malaria testing and medication where necessary following professional medical assessment.
The exercise was supported by medical professionals from the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ebute Metta, Lagos, whose expertise contributed to the delivery of the medical services.
The outreach also provided an opportunity to encourage participants to prioritise preventive healthcare, seek timely medical attention and become more conscious of their health.
Speaking on the initiative, the Managing Director of HAFBAM Global Properties, Hafsah Balogun Omotoso, said the outreach was driven by the company’s desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people beyond its regular business activities.
She said, “At HAFBAM Global Properties, we believe that the impact of a business should not be measured only by its growth, transactions or financial achievements, but also by the positive difference it makes in people’s lives.
“Our CSR journey began in 2023, and we have continued to explore practical ways to contribute to society. This year, we chose healthcare because we understand that good health is fundamental to productivity, family stability and community development. We believe that good health is more valuable than wealth. Reaching over 150 people through this initiative is encouraging, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to making it possible.”
HAFBAM Global Properties expressed its profound appreciation to the Managing Director and entire management of Maternal and Child Centre (MCC), Eti-Osa, Lagos, for granting the company access to use the facility for the outreach.
Special recognition to Ibrahim Adewale Omotoso, Chairman of HAFBAM Global Properties; Dr Aisha Bello and other staff of Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ebute Metta, Lagos; outreach participants; staff, teachers of Tender Sprout School and Faz College and the whole staff and clients of HAFBAM Global Properties for their collaborative efforts in making the medical outreach impactful.
