The Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Prof. Henry Imhonde, at the weekend, challenged alumni associations to promote development of projects in tertiary institutions and mentor the younger ones.

Addressing the lecture and award night organised by Auchi Polytechnic Alumni Association (APAA), Benin chapter, in the Edo State capital, the don urged the alumni to always support activities that revolve around better branding of their alma maters.

He said alumni associations were to keep improving the quality of life in the areas of wealth, education and social beliefs.

Imhonde, in his presentation titled, ‘Make an impact,’ noted that the psychological wellbeing of any individual borders on satisfaction, adding that life was all about complementing one another in the absence of unhealthy rivalry.

The chapter president, Nosa Odia, explained that the event was to bring to the fore the importance of the long canvassed technology-based education.
