The North Central People’s Forum (NCPF) has declared that it is not particular about a North Central person becoming the next President but any Nigerian that can take the country out of the woods.

The Interim President of the forum, who is also a former Minister of Health, Gabriel Aduku, stated this, yesterday, in an interview with newsmen in Abuja.

He said: “Politics is not about who goes there or whatever part of the country he comes from. The person should have all the people in mind. He can come from North-Central, South-South, North-East or West. The situation in which we found ourselves now, we need a sincere leader.

“So, I don’t want to join the bandwagon of those dancing around saying it is the turn of the North-Central.

“We have had our chances in the military. What has that given to us?

He, therefore, challenged the younger generation to play their role well for a better Nigeria.
