Two remanded over student’s murder as court adjourns case
Justice Ibrahim Yusuf of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin, yesterday ordered the remand of Happiness Adebayo and Timileyin Kolawole, the two principal suspects in the 2024 murder of Mojisola Awesu, a student of the State College of Health Technology, Offa.
The suspects were remanded in a correctional facility due to a lack of legal representation. The arraignment of the duo and five other suspects was scheduled, but their pleas could not be taken as the principal suspects were not represented in court.

Also, Adeoye Adeola, Lawal Aminat, and Peter Bulus are accused of conspiring to dispose of Awesu’s corpse at a dump site along Wara Road in Ilorin, an offence punishable under the Kwara State Prohibition of Dealing in Human Parts Law, 2018.
