The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of recruitment into the force for interested Nigerians.

In a statement on Wednesday, the force’s acting military secretary Brigadier General Gabriel Ochigbano said the e-application portal for Short Service Commission (SSC 46/2020)
and the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC 25/2020) is now open.

The application windows opened on August 14 and will last until 28th September 2019.

Ochigbano emphatically noted that the application is free, he said applicants can apply online through the force’s portal http://nigerianarmyms.ng/online_admission/index.php?a=DSSC/.

He said applicants must print out their online generated photo-slip on completion of their application.

“The first page is to be signed by the Registrar of Court of Law while the second page is to be signed by the applicants’ Local Government Chairman/Secretary or any military officer of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel or equivalent and above who hails from his/her state,” Ochigbano said.

“Successful applicants would be required to present their printed photo-slips to the selection board during interview,” he added.
