Omotayo was responding to a request by visiting Amayaevbo, who volunteered to donate a building to NIPSS.
According to him, the institute does not accept all donations by outsiders, adding, however, that management will look into it and convince Prof. Sola Adeyanju, the chairman of the NIPSS committee in charge of such gestures.
While the NIESV President is a bona fide member of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), the NIPSS DG is an estate valuer and property developer.
Omotayo, who was elated by the visit, expressed the readiness of NIPSS to partner with NIESV for national development, adding that they would come out with a tangible blueprint within the next few weeks.
He told Amayaevbo and his team that “NIPSS is a well-structured organisation,” stressing that not everybody who wished would get admission into the institute. He disclosed that only professionals, who already made it as participants for the 10 months intensive course, are admitted.
NIPSS, he added, is multi-factorial, offering courses not only in politics, but economics and other related disciplines and diversities.
