A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP,) from the Southwest, Mr Olufemi Ajadi, has congratulated Bishop Isaac Idahosa on his emergence as the running mate to the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Ajadi, who was also a strong contender for the office, gave the congratulation in a statement on Sunday, 17 July 2022, saying what was uppermost was the party emerging victorious in next year’s election.

He said it was in the same spirit of the party first, that he earlier stepped down his presidential ambition for Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Ajadi said though he desired to be the vice presidential candidate, that God’s will had to be respected.

According to him, the bishop could not have been chosen if God had not willed it for this time, adding that he was optimistic in the same God fulfilling what He had ordained concerning him, Ajadi.

Observing that Idahosa would fit into the grand agenda of NNPP for Nigeria, Ajadi promised to invest all in his power, not only to the emergence of the two but the total victory of the NNPP.

He said, “I am making available all my structure and political capacity in support of the candidacy of his Excellency Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his Running Mate Bishop Isaac Idahosa for the success of our great party, NNPP.”

“Bishop Isaac Idahosa is a man of honour in Christendom and everyone knows Kwankwaso’s political antecedents as ones that are worth emulating. So, I urge all Nigerians to vote for NNPP in the 2023 general election for the better chance they have always dreamed of,” he said.
