 The National Orientation Agency (NOA), has urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s policies and programmes to fast-track sustainable social and economic development in the country.
It also drums support for the FG’s palliatives, to enable Nigerians to access viable interventions under the scheme,  to ease economic hardship and improve their well-being.

He stressed the need for the citizens to exercise patience and support the government’s policies to enable it to achieve the set objectives.
The NOA Coordinator in Jigawa, Mr. Bashir Tijjani, said this at a one-day sensitization exercise on FG’s intervention, on Wednesday in Dutse.
The exercise is being organized by the agency in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Information.
Tijjani said the Tinubu administration has been proactive in lifting Nigerians out of poverty and mitigating hardship occasioned by the economic crunch through palliatives, which the people need to explore.
“The government is highly concerned about the welfare of the citizens, therefore, there is a need for better understanding and courage to pass through the changes.
“There is a need for mutual support at a time like this, there is a need to imbibe the spirit of management and sharing,” he said.
Mr Bashir Galadanci, Head of the Federal Information Centre, Dutse, said the federal government’s interventions showcased its commitment towards improving the welfare of the citizens.
He said the interventions aimed at improving the lots of the people at all levels, adding that “the sensitization exercise is to provide the citizens of the state good understanding on how to access the intervention variants”.
Galadanci urged residents of the state to avail themselves opportunities of the FGs intervention programmes to improve their living standards.
In a paper presentation, Prof. Ali Siro, noted that the federal government initiated viable interventions to improve the social and economic wellbeing of the people.
He listed the programmes to include Student Loan; Consumer Credit Corporation, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Digital and Creative Enterprise, and Small-up Artisan Programme.
Others are the National Youths Talent Export; National Housing Initiative, NANO Business Support, Nigerian Youths Academy, Micro and Small Business Koan schemes.
The don further sensitized the participants to the eligibility, flexibility and repayment modes of the schemes.
The Emir of Dutse, Hamim Sanusi, lauded the federal government over its intervention programmes, and called for improved salaries and review of the Civil Service Rules.
The emir was represented by Alhaji Mustapha Aminu.
