Non-interest bank partners LASPARK on tree-planting campaign

LOTUS Bank and LASPARK

A non-interest bank, LOTUS Bank, has partnered with Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency (LASPARK) for a tree-planting exercise.

The financial institution also marked her first-year anniversary by commissioning her 20th branch in Idumota, Lagos Island and the launch of her first agency banking, LOTUSMART, to help expand the campaign for financial inclusion in the sector.

Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LOTUS Bank, Mrs. Kafilat Araoye, who spoke at the tree planting ceremony, yesterday, in Lagos, underpinned the significance of the exercise on the core values of the institution since its foundation a year ago.

According to her, the commitment of LOTUS Bank to environmental friendliness is beyond just a symbol on its logo but also reflects on the modus operandi and the architecture of the organisation.

Also, General Manager of LASPARK, Adetoun Popoola, commended the bank’s partnership, which is critical in helping the United Nations (UN) and humanity to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
